A couple weeks ago my brother and I were playing a little Madden when our Xbox 360 freezing annoyance began. We never thought anything about it really, we just would get mad, turn the game off then turn it back on and start playing again. Eventually we got these three red lights on the game console where you start it up. Then the error screen came on and we really didn't know what to do from there.
My brother called Microsoft and told them about the problem and they were saying it was some sort of hardware failure and it would cost like $140 to get it fixed. Not to mention they wanted to keep it for like one to two months, and everything wasn't sounding all that good. Mind you this all stemmed from the warranty that was only ninety days I think he said, but I don't remember if thats 100% right.
So anyways, we went online to try and find out if there were ways we could fix it for about $50 or someone that knew how to do it. Oddly enough we came across this video showing us how to do a towel trick that would eliminate the problem. We saw other sites warning that it could fry our console, and we didn't want to take the chance of having to spend another $400-$500 to get another one.
Then we came across a listing in Google that brought us to 3redlighfix and started reading about their ability to fix our Xbox 360 freezing problems. Seriously, it took the first two sentences to want to try their techniques. First, they would give us a full refund if it didn't work, but the kicker was if they couldn't fix it in an hour! I'm sitting here laughing now because I remember us both laughing then thinking, "Yeah, right, whatever!"
The second reason was the fact that we would learn how to fix our Xbox freezing issues by watching videos instead of reading. That alone is a bonus because honestly, I hate reading and really don't like typing either, but I had to tell you guys how crazy it was that this actually worked. It took us about twenty minutes and that was it, after we laughed a little more about how easy it was we went back to playing some more Madden.
We figured the least we could do was send you a shout out and say thanks for helping us fix this thing. Its nice to know for that price we could do it safely without possibly damaging the system and making it worse. Then of course we saved a ton of money that we plan on using to buy some more games.
